"Time to go swirlie some nerds..." |
— Swirly D.
Swirly D. is an antagonist found in The Toilet Realm. He is a very powerful creature for whom The Clog was put in place to trap. He enjoys giving "swirlies" to those he considers nerds (everybody), which is shoving a person's head into a toilet bowl and flushing it. He will be a boss in a future update.
Physical Characteristics[]
Swirly D. is an anthropomorphic dog demon with a pitch black coat, green eyes with red sclera, a deep red nose, and sharp teeth. If The Player somehow gets close to him using console commands or bugs, it can be seen that he is taller than the Juice Student.
Gameplay[]
Upon defeating The Clog, Sgt. Suckerpunch will tell The Player about Swirly D's awakening. The newly awakened Swirly will then attack and immobilize The Player with his Swirly Lightning, draining their health in the process. The player cannot normally attack or approach him during this event without hacks or glitches. When the Player is near death, Swirly D. will drop them, saying he intends to give swirlies to some nerds.
If Swirly D. is unleashed, many NPCs (including Ingot, Mr. Fox, the Old Man, and Super Ripped Guy) will tell the Player about Swirly D. attacking them and giving them swirlies.
Trivia[]
- When Swirly D says the line "Swirly D has risen. once. moore.", his mouth doesn't move, this might mean that Sgt. Suckerpunch was in fact the one to say the line, this is further backed up by the fact that it is his voice saying the line.
- When far away, his sclera (eyes) may appear orange, but they appear much lighter, or even pink in the OST.
- Swirly's pink eyes, strange way of speaking, and desire to swirly nerds may be a marijuana joke.
- Swirly D's Swirly Lightning attack is a possible reference to Emperor Palpatine's Force Lightning from Star Wars.
- When you talk to the Super Ripped Dude, he claims that Swirly D couldn't get him, but it's implied that he's lying, meaning that Swirly D was likely able to defeat at least one, if not all four of the Fog Giants.
- The "D." in his name stands for "Demon".
- Originally, Swirly's lightning were once the same effect used by the Wand of Kinesis. This was changed in 0.2.2 with Swirly's lightning being changed to actually be swirly. The Player is also moved closer to him.
- If the Player manages to get close to Swirly and attack him, he will not lose any health as he is a ragdoll and not a proper NPC. Add that to swirly lightning being an attack that slowly yet inevitably kills and ragdolls the user, and that means Swirly D is currently the strongest character in fiction. This may change when he becomes a boss.
