Signy is a sentient sign with googly eyes that can be considered a tutorial NPC. He is located at the Graveyard and in a few other spots in the world. He claims to possess "forbidden knowledge," which largely consists of tips for new players, and his dialogue explains certain mechanics or nudges players towards progressing through the game.

Trivia

• There are actually five copies of Signy in the world. The first one is in the Graveyard, the second one atop the Eastern Fog Giant, the third within the Jared Fog Giant next to Signy's Sweet ride, and the fourth above the tunnel to Heck. The First Signy will tell the Player "forbidden knowledge," the second will say that he is an explorer and talks about the "Evil beneath". The third Signy says that he will let the Player borrow his car (Signy's Sweet Ride). The fourth says that he received a mortal wound and can't proceed further into the cave, giving the player his Ordinary Pineapple. The fifth appears in Wawsp Nests, in Larva Land™.
  • In version 0.0.4, the wounded Signy's Morningstar was changed to an Ordinary Pineapple.
• Signy will also appear on the Toilet leading to the toilet realm if the player's computer does not support Shaders, barring them from entry and explaining that the region will hopefully become accessible in a future update.
• In version 0.1.9, Signy can now be found in the Larva LandTM, watching over Wawsp Larvae., looking decidedly the worse for wear. When talked to, he will mention the following: "I know a certain individual who programmed a wawsp nest recently. At first, it was just a hole, but he figured it'd need a hive. A specialized AI fulfilling a biological purpose. Non-euclidian behavior. A pocket dimension Larva LandTM. A couple of months later he realized it was not the most efficient idea. He could be making spells, simpler areas and bosses... Pants..... So he put me here to watch over things for now. But I'm tired too, so I'm just chillin. With all these worms, or whatever."
• Signy's pupils are actually their own models and are not a texture.
