Player customization is a feature available on the Juice Galaxy game's menu when starting a new game.
This feature allows the player to change the physical appearance of the player model, as well as physics and other settings.
Description[]
Upon starting the game, the player will have to create a character, and they'll be presented with the following options:

Settings menu, with difficulty slide bar and name selection
Settings: This page allows the player to choose their name and the mode in which they want to play on. If the player wants to change their dfficulty setting they will be presented with a sliding bar that can go from 0.01 to 8

The texture Settings menu
Appearance: In this page, the player can change their physical appearance and textures. There are a few default texture options like Pizza, Rainbow, Palette and Default, all of which can be modified with certain settings, like Offset, Tiling and RGB tint. In this menu, the player can click on "Load Texture" in the texture settings and choose a custom texture to use.
Proportions: If the player clicks the Proportions setting in the appearance menu, they will see a big menu with several body options. These options are:
- Head
- Chest
- Butt
- Arms 1
- Arms 2
- Hands
- Legs 1
- Legs 2
- Feet
These options can be changed with slides, and they will alter the size of the player's limbs.
Physics: in this menu, the player can change the in-game timescale and physics settings. There is, however, a warning just below this menu, informing the player that they might encounter some problems if they modify these settings, as the game isn't intended to be played with modified gravity or timescale.

Trivia[]

Early difficulty menu
- It was first available in the October 22nd-24th test builds, and fully available on update 0.1.5 and onward.
- In older versions, the difficulty sliding bar was a button that would show you 4 different game modes: Just Chilling , Normal (No cheats) , Hardcore (Permadeath) and Speedrun (Timer visible).
- In the proportions menu, the player can manually set custom proportions.
- This, however, can cause a glitch where the number the player inserts can exceed the max proportions of a normal body part (2.5).
- The chest slide bar might have originally been intended to have a breathing sound rather than the normal slide sound, this is backed up by a comment saying "There better be a system that accurately emulates realistic humanoid breathing when scaling occurs or I'm gonna go bonkers". In the reply section of that comment, Fishlicka says "I'll probably make the character subtly breathe, yes."
Glitches and Bugs[]
- There have been numerous bugs caused by the ability to change character proportions, typically relating to the player's surface collision mechanics becoming broken. In particular, players in Version 0.1.6 reported becoming stuck in the ceiling of the Juice School upon starting the game after changing their player model's proportions.[1]
- If the in-game timescale is set below 0.02, Mrs. Slithersss automatically Eye-Lasers the player as the game starts, causing the it to be impossible to start the game. This, of course, doesn't happen in any gamespeed of 0.02 or above.
Anti-Juiceling[]

An anti juiceling jumping outside of the juice school.
- All settings in the proportions menu can be set to a negative value, causing the player's model to have very long and slender limbs, stretching further than would be permitted with normal characters. These models have gotten the unofficial moniker of being anti-juicelings.
- Setting the chest, butt, and head values to -1 can get the player stuck in the ground layer and be buried underground. If they break free, they will be launched at varying speeds, based on how far away the center of mass of the player is from the ground layer. If the player is very far under the ground then they will be launched away at very high speeds, but if they are close to the ground then they won't be launched too far. Some other similar glitches that causes the player to have negative proportions in their legs and arms are likely to be randomly flung against walls or the ground that they're walking on, as well as being able to slap (and destroy) crates and other objects without taking damage.
- Player models with most of their body set to negative values are very likely to spazz out and get stuck on almost everything they touch. This can sometimes result in the player flashing in and out of existence, as they stretch and fail to be rendered properly. Furthermore, they often spawn stuck on the ground, and require the "set noclip 1" command to move without getting stuck.
