Mr. Fox's Dream is an area added in Version 0.1.17 of Juice Galaxy. Much like the Toilet Realm, it is a separate game region that is not a part of the Wilderness, and it is entered by visiting the Evil Cabin after properly defeating Mrs. Slitherss. It is a realm of imagination within the head of a sleeping Mr. Fox who (despite the obvious risk of sleeping in an abandoned, evil cabin) decides to take a nap in the house above Heck.

The realm, being a setting for Mr. Fox's dream, contains a substantial share of information about his backstory, as well as worldbuilding and lore about Juice Galaxy as a whole.

Description[]

The dreamland within Mr. Fox's mind is a vast expanse of procedurally-generated land, similar to the Wilderness, but based on a far simpler and more plain terrain generation algorithm; the further the player ventures from the evil cabin, the steeper the land will become - to the point that it forms an impassible wall at a certain distance. As such, the player is functionally limited in how far they can stray from the Cabin. The sky is filled with a dense teal fog, the ground is populated by Trees and Rocks, and some enemies will also spawn and harass the player. The player will initially spawn in a recreation of the Evil Cabin surrounded by massive arm-like objects.

Of note is that the game's gravity and timescale settings are altered from the default when in this region, with a timescale of 0.8x and gravity of 0.5x their normal values when in the Wilderness, causing everything to be slower and floatier (intended to give the realm a dreamlike quality).

Boss Encounters[]

The one and only boss encounter in this area is with a strange, flying creature known as Dream-Eater, which appears to be tormenting the young Mister Fox. It has a black body ending in a stubby pot belly (similar to Batty) with extremely long clawed arms, red horns, yellow eyes, and a pale white face resembling an imp mask. It speaks in a distorted voice, with no subtitles (as of now), similar to the creator. Its two main forms of attack are chasing the player, and occasionally rising up into the air to lunge back down, arms outstretched. When close to the ground, it appears to move by grabbing the floor and pulling itself, though that may just be a side effect of its AI combined with the strange gravity of the dream world.
