- For other uses, see Monster (disambiguation).
Monsters are hostile entities that can be found all throughout Juice Galaxy. More often than not, the Player will have to fight them in order to progress.
Gameplay[]
Aside from bosses, monsters will all attack the player by ambling towards them and dealing damage on contact. This contact damage can be avoided by evading the movement patterns of the assailant or slaying them before they are able to reach the player. Hardier enemies will survive for long enough that the player will have to evade several attacks (which usually means several steps taken towards the player) before the enemy is killed. More powerful enemies will be physically larger and faster, making their assaults more difficult to evade due to there being less space to dodge into and less time to move.
The player can directly combat monsters with weapons. Not all weapons are created equal, and some may be more suited for particular encounters than others. Spells can also be used to dispatch foes, and items such as the Wand of Kinesis or use of flight can allow for players to flee from combat if they desire.
Bosses will have higher health than all enemies that can be encountered near the graveyard (although extremely high-level enemies at high Monster Levels may best them in raw health and damage). They also have unique AI that forces the player to approach their fights differently than they would for standard enemies. As of Version 0.1.7, all bosses have been able to speak (although not all of them may speak to the player through the dialogue menu), and defeating a boss will result in a change to the player's abilities, a change to the game world, or a progression in the game's story.

Trivia[]
- In the game's earlier versions, Mr. Fox and Koaladog were stationary enemies that were capable of delivering contact damage. As of V0.1.1, they were re-categorized as passive NPCs, and cannot harm the Player directly.
