Jump is an ability that can be upgraded at juice fountains.
Description[]
The act of jumping can be conducted at any time while the player is in contact with the ground and not stunned by pressing the Space bar, regardless of upgrades.
Upgrading this ability controls the maximum height of the player's jump; upgrades allow the player to rise higher per jump, reaching higher locations without the use of the flight ability.
This set of upgrades can be marginally advantageous for vertical maneuvering prior to upgrading the Flight or any Energy-related abilities, which are costly upgrade families. Ultimately, however, flight upgrades are required for accessing and exploring certain areas, meaning that the jump ability is overshadowed by Flight for most situations involving vertical movement.
