Frolgs are new enemies that was added in version 0.1.11. They look like round frogs that bounce around, and fly around in the manner of deflation upon defeat.

Appearance

Frolgs are round, green frog like creatures with large, bulbous eyes and a mouth that vaguely resembles The Clog's. They have five stubby "limbs" (four legs and a tail) that do not appear to move much if at all.

The top half of their bodies are typically a darker shade of green than their bottom half. Their bodies also appear to ripple slightly as if they were water balloons.

Frolgs make typical "ribbit" sounds upon coming into contact with other solid objects, including the ground, buildings, weapons or even other monsters. Upon being defeated, Frolgs will rapidly shrink and fly away, with air coming out of their mouths to propel them around. This makes Frolgs very difficult for Vampiric players to drink, however it is possible, to which players will find that doing so causes the deflation sound to pitch up a lot more.

Movement

Frolgs do not use limbs to move around like other monsters do; instead they bounce around the area. This method of locomotion is surprisingly fast, and Frolgs are often the bane of many a new player that have been crushed under their big round bodies. Due to their bouncing abilities, Frolgs are capable of reaching many areas other enemies may have difficulty getting to, same for Wawsps.

Trivia

• Fishlicka has mentioned the idea of confining the locations of Frolgs to a specific biome, possibly an aquatic themed one, when biomes do get implemented.
• Frolgs somewhat resemble The Clog.
