Energy is a vital player statistic, represented by a brown bar in the top left of the player's screen, directly below the Health bar. It is used for a variety of actions throughout Juice Galaxy, and not having enough for a certain action will prevent a player from conducting it- which can lead to inconvenience or death.

Gameplay[]
Energy can be used for:
Energy can be replenished through Sucking, where the amount of energy gained is dependent on the size of the Monster. Larger corpses give more energy, but will take longer to suck, and have the potential to push the player around. Energy will also regenerate over time, with the rate of regeneration being tied to the energy Regen stat.
The player is able to upgrade both their maximum amount of energy and their energy regeneration at a Juice Fountain, at the cost of Juice. Certain hats can provide bonuses to maximum energy and regen based on the modifiers they have.

Regenerating Energy[]
Improves the rate at which the player recovers depleted energy. It is an important stat due to its direct connection to the player's ability to fly indefinitely and fight for extended periods of time- crucial for exploration and boss battles.
Regeneration constantly and linearly increases the player's amount of energy up until the player is full, but unlike health regeneration, it does not increase in response to the player being low on energy or health. This rate is slow by default, and the player will have to wait while not using energy-intensive abilities in order to be able to use them again. Upgrading this stat can eventually allow the energy consumption rate of flight to be totally negated, permitting indefinite or near-indefinite flight.
Currently, it stands as one of the more important stats to improve, as most of the abilities the player will use to combat enemies or explore are prone to quickly drain the player's energy, and the player's ability to flee from battle or effectively fight are both tied to having enough energy. Energy regen synergizes well with increases to the Max Energy stat, allowing the player to use flight far more frequently and spam ranged weapons with impunity.
As with other stats, Energy Regen can be upgraded at a Juice Fountain using Juice points. It is suggested to be one of the player's first point investments when starting out.
Maximum Energy[]
Affects the amount of energy-intensive actions a player can conduct before having to rest or otherwise replenish their energy by increasing the highest amount of energy a player can have. The player begins the game with barely enough energy to be able to summit the Juice Schoolhouse via flight, but with upgrades to Maximum energy they can fly great distances before having to rest, and can use many power attacks in quick succession without having to worry about running out of steam.
Like other player statistics, it can be upgraded at a Juice Fountain by spending Juice Points. Certain wearable items can also be employed to increase this statistic.
Trivia[]
- If a player intends to use weapons whose size has been increased either due to being found at a high Monster Level or from upgrades by Hulk Hoagen, they will have to increase their maximum energy in order to employ power attacks, as the energy drain would overpower even the maximum level of energy regeneration.
