Elite Monsters are more powerful versions of the monsters found in Juice Galaxy.
Gameplay[]
An example of a very high level item, obtained from killing an Elite Enemy around Monster Level 115.
Currently, Elite Monsters have a 10% chance to spawn in place of a normal monster.[1] Elite monsters can be immediately recognized, as they have unique color palettes and names, generated randomly. Elite monsters are scaled to a higher level than the monster level they spawn in, and are drastically bigger or smaller than the other monsters at that level. The increase in monster level also means they deal more damage and have more health than the enemies around them. They start out at a minimum of level 10, and further out, will be leveled to roughly twice the monster level. Items dropped by Elite Enemies can be immensely strong, as their Item Level will be close to the Monster Level you fought the elite at. Due to the way item levels affect stat mods, you can easily obtain items with stat mods in the hundreds if not more with enough patience and grinding.

Trivia[]
- Version 0.1.7 onwards includes Elite versions of Trees, which like other elite enemies are colored differently. While the trees do not pose any direct hazard, destroying them will still spawn Koalaths. The Koalaths and the items the trees drop will not scale to their level. There are not elite Crates, however.
- Fishlicka plans to develop the elite monster system further, adding real mechanics such as elemental damage and AI adjustments to them.[2]
